How good was the performance on the old computers?
The average home computer was moderately fast but the parts inside were fairly large and there were cables and stuff everywhere inside making it harder for the motherboard to receive and send data to different components in the computer. The Eniac was a computer monster used in WWII couldn't do much but it was a jump in the technology that helped us get to where we are today.
