Drain line is clogged.
Mine is a 2004 XL1200c, same filter. It sets on top of the petcock in the gas tank. It is a super fine filter and does get clogged with normal use. You do not need to remove the tank, carefull syphen all the gas from the tank. The chrome nut is double threaded, it has resevse threads on each end to mount and dismount the petcock to the tank. Pull the vacume tube from the back of the petcock, pull the gas line from the bottom of the petcock. The Filter is pressed onto the petcock, so after you lower the petcock the first inch, take a fine screwdriver and gently pry the filter from the petcock. Remove the percock, then carefully pull the fuel filter down. It is about 3.5 inches long. I suggest you replace it, not just clean it, Once it's clogged, it will clog again in short duration. Hope this helps.

The 2003 Nissan radiator petcock is located on the bottom of the radiator. The radiator petcock will be in the center of the radiator bottom.
1997 cavaliers don't have petcocks, actually no cavalier has a petcock. you can check the bottom of your buddy's motorcycle to find a petcock most likey.
if your looking down on the petcock from the top of the radiator turn the petcock to the right to loosen it and to the left to tighten.
The petcock is at the bottom of the radiator on the drivers side of the car.
I just ran into this problem. The petcock is plastic and has a metal pin protruding thru the side. This pin rides in a "track" and locks the petcock into place when you put it back in. I broke the pin removing the petcock and had to remove the radiator to repair it. You may be able to do this with the radiator in place. See if you can feel the track and if you replace the pin, you will feel it lock into place when you reinstall the petcock. The pin can only protrude on one side of the petcock so that the petcock will seat correctly. Good luck.
Replace petcock with a properly sized plug Be sure you turned the petcock back in all the way. Try opening and re-closing petcock, may be some trash in it.On mine you have to push in on the petcock and turn it to re-seat it.
