Whether Pre Med and Pre Health are the same depends on the college or program. Pre Health typically prepares one for work in the allied health industries. It leads to a more diverse career path than Pre Med.
FF in evaluation can stand for "Funder Feedback," which refers to feedback or input provided by a funding organization or donor. It can also stand for "Formative Feedback," which is input given during the course of a project to inform and improve its progress and outcomes.
In A level you do bio, chem and physics or math.then you go to a medcial school for MD or MBBS. You do one year residency or house job.then you specialise for three years in anaesthelogy speciality. Final year of high school:chemistry. human biology. one maths subject(any difficult maths that includes statistic) and obviously standard English (or whatever is the offical language of your country)you would need to be a general practioner first (bachelor of Medicine, bachelor of Surgery), then you study a specialise course to become an anaesthetist. You will need a bachelor degree in science (4 years of pre-med), then 4 years of medical school, then a few more years in the anesthesiology specialty.Or you could get a bachelor degree in nursing (4 years), then a master's in nursing (another 3 years) then a certificate in nurse anesthesiology. But this way you will have to work under the direction of a doctor.
biology or chemist! there is no such thing as a pre-med major
what is pre-medical
No it is not, I see it both ways, pre-med or pre-medical and premed or premedical.
Oklahoma Baptist University has a pre-med program that 90% of the students get accepted into med school
what is pre-medical
I think Syracuse University has the best pre med in upstate NY.
Pretty much all colleges and universities offer a pre-med major.
Pre-med students are those who wish to pursue a career - typically - as a physician. A Pre- med program ensures they have the appropriate prerequisites to apply to medical school.Pre-med students are those who wish to pursue a career - typically - as a physician. no! you don't even HAVE to have a degree to get into a pharmacy program. All you need to do is compete the prerequisites that your school of interest requires and then take the PCAT and apply to pharmacy schools. Pre med has nothing to do with pharmacy.
Yes, it is a good major for pre-med students. I am a pre-med student and getting my BSN. Pre-med students can major in anything, including music, religion, english, math, etc. Many students major in Biological Sciences, but it is not required to get into Medical School. The good thing with getting your BSN is you can become a Nurse and get your clinical experience for Med School, because they want clinical experience and good MCAT scores, so you have to balance it out. One thing is that you have to take pre-reqs that Med Schools require while you are doing BSN. So you have to think carefully before deciding to get your BSN, because you have to take nursing courses and at the same time you have do pre-reqs for Med School, and remember Pre-med and Nursing is totally differents majors. If can devote your time, then you should do BSN and pre-medical pre-reqs.
There is no such thing as a pre-law degree, it is a meaningless word, just as a college student claiming to be pre-med. Law schools will accept applicants with any type of college degrees.
UB doesn't have an official pre-med progam. They have a major in Biology but that's about it.
