No need for Oxygen.

also....All living things in the world including plants require energy in order to function. This energy is obtained from the food we eat. The cells break down the energy stored in the food through a unique system known as cellular respiration. In plain language, cellular respiration means the procedure through which the food is broken down by the cells of living beings in order to produce the energy which is in the form of ATP molecules (also known as the Adenosine Tri Phosphate molecules). Plants use a part of this ATP energy during photosynthesis for producing sugar. The sugars are then broken down during cellular respiration. This cycle is continued again and again as long as the plant lives.

Is fermentation aerobic?

There are different kinds of fermentation, and fermentation can be aerobic, or anaerobic.

Anaerobic respiration is also known as?

Fermentation

What are the two types of fermentation and why each is necessary?

Aerobic fermentation and anaerobic fermentation.

Describe anaerobic fermentation and its reactants and products?

Well, the reactants and products of anaerobic fermentation are called GO TO HIGHSCHOOL.

Is alcohol fermentation anaerobic or aerobic?

alcoholic fermentation is anaerobic. It is done by yeast as it does not require oxygen for respiration.God bless!

What is process of fermentation?

The anaerobic process

What is the recycling of NAD under anaerobic conditions?

Under anaerobic conditions, NAD can be recycled through fermentation processes that regenerate NAD+ from NADH. This allows cells to continue glycolysis and produce ATP in the absence of oxygen. Fermentation pathways, such as lactic acid fermentation or alcohol fermentation, are utilized to regenerate NAD for these anaerobic processes.

Production of energy without oxygen is called?

Anaerobic respiration.

What are the two types of anaerobic respiration?

The two types of anaerobic respiration are lactic acid fermentation and alcoholic fermentation. Lactic acid fermentation occurs in muscle cells during intense exercise, while alcoholic fermentation is used by microbes like yeast to produce ethanol and carbon dioxide.

Is wine made by aerobic or anaerobic fermentation?

Wine is typically made through anaerobic fermentation, where yeast convert sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide in the absence of oxygen. Oxygen exposure during fermentation can lead to off-flavors in the wine.

Why is it Because fermentation takes place in the absence of oxygen it is said to be?

It is said to be anaerobic, which means "without oxygen". The opposite of "anaerobic" is "aerobic" which means requiring oxygen.
