How do you turn off closed captions on GCI remote?

Leave tv on, turn off pvr, press menu on remote and pvr will turn on with a menu screen showing (slight delay) on tv but the power on light will show red (off). Anyway, toggle to closed caption if not already on it and choose cc off. Press exit and then press power button on pvr on and your done.

To turn off the closed caption setting, most TVs require a remote. On the remote, press menu until it says closed captions or cc, then press enter. You might have to scroll through and click to the off position.
