Difficult question to answer. China is one of the most developed nations of the world. It is in fact one of two remaining super powers. However, China is also similar to third world countries in other ways. The problem is that they have a polulation that lives in all manners and at all economic levels. And, the balance between those at the upper levels and lower levels are similar. There also rises a problem of the areas of development: economic, technological, academic/educational, medical and health, human rights, religion and acceptance.
