im albanian and there really isn't a hello sorta but when you answer a phone instead of saying hello you say alo usually when i wanna say hello to another albanian i just say hello and they understand

Instead of hello you can you hi and hello Instead of goodbye you can just say bye or if you plan on talking to them later you can say talk to you later (ttyl)
we usually give salam, or just say hi instead

Russians may wave (or simply raise their hand) to say hello instead of, or in addition to, saying "Hello". They are, however, more likely to wave goodbye.
New Zealanders still say hello! Probably too lazy to use the English language properly.
we dont really have a word for hello. instead we say "ete sen" which is a combo of hello and how are you. people normally respond with "eye" which means fine.
