Although we only have bones from the arm and leg, paleontologists know that:

  • It was an Oviraptorosaur, so we know approximately what it looked like and what it probably ate, based on what other Oviraptorosaurs looked like and ate.
  • We know its size (about 6.6 feet long).
  • They had a long claw on each hand, which may have been used for pulling grubs out of crevices, or piercing soft bodied amphibians. This would not have been possible if they had lots of feathers on their arms like their relatives, though.
