On the other hand, the earliest hominins (our ancestors) only appeared about 7 million years ago. When people speak of 'cave men', they usually mean the Neanderthals - although all early humans lived in caves if they were available. The Neanderthals lived in Europe from about 200,000 years ago. So, cavemen certainly did not exist when dinosaurs did.
