H2SO4 + Na2CO3 => H2CO3 + Na2SO4 => CO2 + 2H20 + 2Na2SO4

Initially carbonic acid is formed. As the solution becomes more basic the CO2 will evolve off and what will tend to remain will be H2O and the sodium sulfate.
