When you set up a sub network you decide upon the subnet mask and this determines the network address (all zeros in the subnet portion of the address) and the broadcast address (all ones in the subnet portion of the address). When you assign the host addresses in your subnet, then you use the addresses between the network address and the broadcast address.
Broadcast means you sent digital signals to any device connected to a network. Point to point means you send digital signals from a specific point to a specific point (identified by IP address or MAC address).
Good question!!
IP is the internet protocol that uniquely identifies a system on a network and there is no difference between IP and IPv4 infact IPv4 is a version of like IPv6.
The main difference between RIPv1 and RIPv2 is classless routing. RIPv2 incorporates the addition of the network mask in the update to allow classless routing advertisements. This is extremely important for the flexibility needed to efficiently utilize network assignments for an ever-shrinking pool of IP addresses. There are other differences, as well. In RIPv2, the destination address for the updates is multicast, instead of broadcast, as in RIPv1. This reduces the burden on the network devices that do not need to listen to RIP updates. With broadcast, every device on the broadcast domain must at least open the IP packet and process the initial information to determine relevance. With multicast addressing, if a device needs that information, it will listen to that specific address. If it does not need the RIP information, it does not have to process the multicast address. The multicast address RIPv2 sends to is 224.0.0.9.Another addition to RIPv2 is authentication. Authentication is used to ensure that routes being distributed throughout the network are coming from authorized sources.
A permanent address for a mobile node is it's IP address when it is at it's home network. A care-of-address is the one its gets when it is visiting a foreign network.
They are kind of similar. Well basically Broadcast Design is as its name says to be broadcasted by a television network. A large portion of broadcast design is known as "branding" for television channels and programs. Motion graphics is graphic design applied to animation, it doesn't need to be broadcasted on a tv network.
An IP address is the address of your computer on a network. You can have a local IP address if you have a home or office network but also an Internet IP address. Your e-mail address is completely different to an IP address. http://www.whats-my-ip.biz
BBC:British broadcast company CBBC:Childrens British Broadcast Company Hope this helps
ip is what they use 4 ur computer the other thing is where ur computer is at
Hardware address is the MAC address. IPv4 is the IP address. The MAC address is assigned to each network device at the time it's manufactured and does not change. The IP address is manually assigned and can be changed.
See the OSI layer. The MAC address is the base addressing. IP addresses ride on top of the MAC Addresses.
AnswerThe difference between the two is that internet is the world wide web and network is local.
