How do you write film is a mass communication?

I think what you are trying to say is that film is an "example of" mass communication. In other words, film (or movies) is one of the mass media. A mass medium sends out a message to a large and often distant and anonymous audience; we don't know who is listening to our radio show or who is reading our book, and the audience could come from anywhere. (And by the way, "medium" is singular-- radio is a mass medium. Radio and television are mass "media," plural.) Examples of mass media are radio, TV, movies, books, magazines, the internet, and newspapers. All of these are in the category known as "mass communication."

What is Top-Down media?

Top-Down media refers to media hierarchies where a small number of producers disseminate content to the masses (i.e. film and television production companies) compared to more circular forms of media where everyone can participate (i.e. YouTube).

What is the difference between communication and communications?

As I learned in my Introduction to Communication course in college, communication (singular) refers to theories, methods and strategies of how information is effectively sent and received. Communications (plural) refers to the physical systems that are used to send and receive information (i.e. telephone exchange servers, radio/TV/film equipment, etc.). A "Communication Specialist" usually works at a desk and focuses on how best to send and receive needed messages using available systems. A "Communications Specialist" usually wears a utility belt and installs, maintains and fixes equipment used in information exchange.

What is the difference between correspondence and report?

Oh, dude, you're really making me work here! So, like, correspondence is more like casual chit-chat between peeps, you know, like emails or letters. Reports, on the other hand, are all official and stuff, like with data and analysis and all that jazz. So, yeah, correspondence is like texting your buddy, and reports are like presenting your findings to the boss.
