I own one of these and have done a lot of research on them. There are 5 or maybe 6 models that I know of , and which model and its condition affects the price greatly. The range is from $500.00-$30,000 depending.
The 44 key student butterfly was their smallest and cheapest built, and is usually in horrible shape if you can find one. There might be two models of this one but if so they are pretty close in quality- low. They were usually a children's first piano and hence the care of them pretty rough.
The 73 key models (art deco, duncan phyfe and Louis XV) range from $1200 for an unrestored duncan (least preferred) to $15,000 for a completely reconditioned art deco model (most preferred) however some restorations are not as good as others and the price should reflect that (i.e. poorly restored: 6-9,000)
The 88 key model is a higher end art deco model, and range from $1200 for one that needs a lot of work to $30,000 for a completely and properly restored and rebuilt one at a retail shop. These are little beauties and the cases have much more detail as well as the mechnics of the piano itself. I have only seen 4 of these and 2 were restored and were $25,000 and $30,000 respectively.
Hope this helps.
