What I believe you are asking about is a plush toy made by Carousel (by guy) called a Beeple. It's a stuffed plush toy that looks very much like a tan abominable snowman type with tiny eyes and nose. Its nose lights up with light/motion and it makes a series of beeping noises that are almost like the noises that Chubbles make. Chubbles were made by Toy Fair in the mid 80's but I'm not sure when the Beeble was made.
