No, humans cannot become fairies.
However in Holly Black's book Valiant, if a human drinks fairy glamour, or "Never" as they call it, then they have the ability to change their looks and make people do whatever they want them to do like fairies can.
Fairies are not real, therefore we do not know if they are.
We do not know that, and it kinda depends on what the human is doing. And I think they are because they always hide when they come. So yes they are, They're afraid of being seen by humans in case they get tortured or anything like that
Incidences of this are quite rare. The only ones that I can think of at the moment are in The Lyonesse Trilogy by Jack Vance and Thumbalina by Hans Christian Anderson.
Usually 'friendships' between fairies and humans have a certain 'stand-offish' quality to them as would be expected of distant species. Even relationships with elves have something of this transitory quality to them. Unions with mermaids also appear strained and often end unhappily. The most successful inter-species relations with humans that I know of are with Nymphs and even here there are numerous incidences of unhappy endings.
Yes, but they don't like to be seen and usually try to stay away from humans. I have seen a few faeries, but only from a distance. :-)
no
Yes the association is possible, if by dating you mean: spending semi-intimate time in each other's company doing things that are physically compatible.
