In the end, Salvador gets deported back to their country and Lupita contiues to work with Aunt Consuelo. Salvador will continue to try to come to America again, but it will probably never happen. Lupita doesn't count Salvador as a brother anymore, because of the way he treats her like trash. He hurt her very bad, and their relashionship is probably ruined forever..................
