Not all naturally occurring phenomenon can or should be interpreted as signs or omens. Unless the oriole is of personal significance to you, I think this is one such case.
However, as the oriole had at one time become rare in certain areas of the country, this sighting may signify an increase in population in your area, and therefore a good sign for the species and the environment.
