A cell is the basic unit of all life. Everything that is living and growing are made up of many cells, except for single-celled organisms. Part the cell's purpose is to regenerate. It does this by splitting in two, and those two parts of the cell quickly grow into new cells of their own and those divide, ect. This is how a living thing grows. The cell also stores DNA of the organism it is in.

Cells are the basic building blocks of all living things. They carry out essential functions such as metabolism, growth, and reproduction. Different cells come together to form tissues, organs, and organ systems, which work together to keep living organisms functioning properly.
