I would like to know how do you put a title in two peoples names.... Me and my boyfriend both did the work for a car and the owner changed the tilte in his name I was not present when this ocurred it was signed over to him bt the original owner. He said for me just to sign the title and that would be fine, but Im not sureif this was done the right way he was the only one present when I signed it... I hope you can help me with this question. Thank you, Mandy
It belongs to the other person on the title.
Yes, the loan can be in one sole persons name, but the title can remain in two peoples names or be transfered into one. If you need some help with this I handle situations like this all the time give me a call 214)607-1445.
Most states will allow you to register a car in one name even if two names are on the title. Of course, the registration has to be in one of the names on the title.
This is listed under vehicle titles and you do neither that you ask. On a pink slip there are two boxes. One is the registered owner and the other is for the owner. If there is a loan on the car this is where the loan company is listed. If you own the car your name is there.
no
they both have to agreeand if one dosent agree the other cant sell it
No, you may not make changes. Read the fine print on the back of the title, and check the laws for your own state. You have to submit the original title for a new title, and then you can transfer it to the new owner. If you are a registered dealer, you can usually reassign. Again, check the laws of your state.
Peoples Party and the Liberal Party
They can sue you both. One your friend is the driving and responsiable for the accident and two you own the car. Better get your check book out.
Countess and Orlando
yes they can have the same title.
Legal its in his name, he can sell it and since his is only name on title its legal.Married couples or people with joint interest in a vehicle should have both names put on titleThe above is correct, but should say that there are TWO ways of placing two names on a title:John or Susan Smith (allows EITHER party to sell the vehicle)John and Susan Smith (requires both people to sign the title in order to sell the vehicle)
