check your fuses first
If your Chevy trailblazer 2004 gauges are not working, check your fuel pump.

If all of the gauges stopped working there is probably a blown fuse in the right side of the console in the car or out under the hood in that fuse box. If all of the fuses are good then there is likely a bad gauge cluster or a wiring problem.
The most common answer is they are broken, but more specifically if the fuse inside your car blew it would throw the reading off in your temperture and fuel gauges since they run through the same circut board in your car you should definatly check your fuses.
Check the plastic "Molex" connector at the firewall. Disconnect and reconnect. Same thing happened on my 1894 Maxima; could drive the car but the tachometer and other gauges stopped working.
Lose of power or ground since all the gauges quit working.
did you do a car to car jump or a portable jumper box? on cadillacs you shouldn't do car to car jumps do to there's a chance it'll mess up you computer system. vonshay_m2002@yahoo.com
They are probably not working because they are most likely broken.
the gauges move in the first place bacause of air pressure/temp so when u shut off your car the pressure is released because the gauges would break more frequently otherwise.
Is it all the gauges or some? You make have to take the instrumental cluster apart. Make sure all the hardness for the gauges are all connected.
There are certain car gauges which are mandatory to have in a dashboard. These gauges are the speedometer, the temperature gauge, the fuel gauge, the tachometer, oil pressure gauge, charging system gauge, and odometer.
