Thousands of people have been really satisfied with the AEM Cold Air Intakes and I think it would be the perfect choice for your high reving GSR engine as it flows very very high. Cheers, GPI Performance
There's a detent cable from the trans to the intake, check it out.
On my Chevy truck it idles high when its low on antifreeze but if its not that more than likely its usually a vacuum line loose or cracked. good luck.
vacuum leak
cold engines hve high idles because the pcm is dumping fuel into the motor in order to increase engine operating temperature. when speified temperature is reached, the amount of fuel is decreased an the rpm drops down to the lower idle speed
You have a large vacuum leak.
there is an idle control on these cars, could also be a problem with your intake, and idle. that's what was wrong with my 2000 focus. i lowered the idle, and changed the air filter.
Hard to give a definite answer to that one....not enough information. Generally, high idles are caused by either a sticking Idle Air Control valve or a vacuum leak allowing air in somewhere it shouldn't be. Look at the condition of the hoses connected to your engine's intake and replace any that are cracked or split. Also make sure the intake air duct from the air cleaner to the intake is intact. Hope this helps!
see previous answers, but if it idles high it might be the Mass Airflow Sensor. if your car idles too high for too long and you keep driving it, you could burn out the transmission module (very expensive )
Polar Bears have an extremely high calorie output. The cold climate also makes high food intake essential.
You can add a high performance air intake to give it more horsepower
check the upper intake manifold gasket, may have a vacuum leak at high operating temps.
