insurance fraud.
Police officers never lie.
An auto accident claim typically involves a claimant, insurance company, attorney, doctor(s), police officer(s), and witness(s).
The first thing you should do is call the police so they can respond to the site of the accident and write a report. They can also make certain everyone involved is licensed and insured.
It is a bruise from being involved in an auto accident.
1) Your insurance company receives your driving record from your DMV. If you are in an accident and it is reported to the police, they will add that accident to your driving record. 2) When you are in an auto accident, the insurance companies of everyone involved are notified when people submit claims.
Insurance companies determine fault by looking at police reports, taking statements from the parties involved and witnesses, and looking at the vehicles.
No you cannot be a police officer in Grand Theft Auto, but you can in Saints Row: The Third
No.
file and pursue a claim or dont. If you do file , file a police report, get a copy of the report and have your property insurance company pursue the claim against the insurance company covering the party or parties involved in the auto accident
Yes, you can. If you are involved in an accident and have their license plate, either file a police report and the police will get the information for you, or,contact your insurance company. Keep in mind, insurance records are NOT public information.
Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Police officers who make out an accident report are rarely a witness to the actual accident and almost never investigate and auto accident unless foul play is suspected. Typically an officer responding to the scene of an accident is simply noting observations and taking down the statements of others. There is no reason to assume that the officer knows all the facts, has interviewed all witnesses or even has the training to determine fault or legal liability. An insurance adjuster does have that training. Although an insurer will certainly want to review any accident reports that have been filed to make sure they have as much information as possible, they do not make a determination based solely on a police officers accident report.
