under the car forward of the fuel tank
I had the same problem with mine. I looked under the driver side and saw that the fuel filter was dripping. Replaced it and have not had any problems since then.
The fuel filter is located under the vehicle, beside the fuel tank. It is just forward of the left rear wheel.
Lay under the fuel tank and look forward of it. It can be done on the ground. Very easy.
The engine will not start and you will probably be dripping fuel from the bottom of the vehicle or frame.
No Ford Escorts have a fuel overflow valve.
Compromised fuel line or connector. That's also where the fuel filter is, so that could be your problem, as well.
We click on it and drag it to the empty fuel line which has the fuel (the green thing) dripping out of it.
It is located under the vehicle mounted to the frame on the drivers side just forward of the fuel tank.
is the line that serves as overflow tanks of oil to a tank specific to prevent the oil overflows into the sea.
the fuel line has a hole in it or the o ring is bad at the injector or at the connection line
the fuel pump is under neath the rear seat. you will have to pull the front of the seat up and then slide it forward. there you will see the harness going to the fuel pump..
