∙ 13y agoNot knowing how deep it went or what type of vehicle you have it is hard to say. You may also have water in the transmission, transfer case, front and rear differentials. I would guess if you only got water into the exhaust system, a good 20 mile highway drive should dry out the exhaust system.

the salt is drained out by letting the water evaporate and they are left behind. When ocean water freezes, its just water. No salt. Ocean water can filter through the sand and marsh grasses and this can filter out the salt as well.

Most of the plants loose excess waters through the stem or their leaves
they prefer to live on hard surfaces in sheltered waters within the intertidal zone. They can survive in salinities between 10 and 32 parts per thousand, and temperatures of -1 to 35° Celcius.
If we can filter toilet water and reuse it then as long as we can get our hands on it we can use it. But if someone owns the rights and won't share then no.
