If this is the case,the oil and temp guage should have an adjustable needle on their face. these needles are adjustable with a small alen wrench. adj the temp guage two thirds of the way up or less, this will shut the engine down when the non adjustable needle reaches the adjustable needle, to prevent engine over heat. the oil gauge works opposite, set it two 5psi. this will shut the engine down if oil presure drops too low.
