You don't say what type of car the inquiry is about, so here are a few general answers. If you have a turbo-diesel, and there is a whistle starting about 1700 rpm, then you are probably hearing the turbo spinning up as exhaust gas pressure rises. Alternatively, you could have a leak on the air pipes, and be hearing boost air escaping. A small fault on the exhaust manifold gasket, can cause a whistle as gas escapes under pressure.
Squealing water pump, or alternator are also possible causes, as are slipping drive belts for these parts and the Power Steering pump and air-con.
When the turbo winds up it can make a whistling sound when a driver steps on the pedal. A loose part can also cause a rattling sound when the pedal is used.
If it is a turbo, it could be the turbo winding up. I had an Audi with 2.7 T engine that would whistle / whine when accelerating. You could have an air leak in the inlet manifold or plenum.
sorry to tell you this but your turbo has shot it
you are about to crash man! turn!!
The whistling sound made by your car could be caused from brake dust. Another reason may be from a bad wheel bearing that needs to be replaced.
Friction.
push on the gas pedal, man!!
because you did not step on your clutch pedal
I wouldn't want to be in your car because it shouldn't do that
If you step on the brake pedal , yes
Possibly nothing more than the brake pedal return spring catching on something.
there is an ABS siloniod located to the upper left of the brake pedal, under the dash you can check. Is the ainti-lock brake warning light illuminated on the instrument panel?
