The most likely cause is that there was an electrical surge when you jump started the vehicle. More than likely it blew a fuse that controls those two features.
Fuse 21 is the central locking & interior light fuse.
if removed and replaced properly the interior locking button should always work.
If the tailgate is dropped hard it can toggle the locking mechanism. If you don't have a key to unlock the tailgate, you'll have to remove the plastic side of the tailgate (the inside) and flip the locking lever back to the unlocked position. While you have the cover off you might as well put some drops of oil on all of the metal moving parts inside the tailgate.
This was a repair available via a recall repair from Chevy involving a tailgate problem.
battery dead.
That would be the DOOR LOCK (30A) Fuse in the Interior Fuse Panel.
A little more info would help.m Do you have tension on the handle? Does the window open. Was there signs of corrosion on the locking mechanism? I would try removing the interior panel to see if you can move the locking mechanism w/ a screw driver. A little more info would help Do you have tension on the handle? Does the window open. Central locking on madza 2 not working
All Ford vehicles have a central locking system that were manufactured after 1993. The Ford focus has always had the central locking system.
yes it does , but its manual central locking. I can find the central lock button inside the car
A central locking kit converts your car to fully remote central locking which enables you to lock the entire car from the driver's door in an instant.
