If you only have water in your cooling system you will eventually get rust from the engine block. (bottom half of the motor) Put some antifreeze in it and change it every couple of years as it eventually becomes acidic and can damage alloy parts. You can do a litmus paper test on the coolant every service to check.
Follow the upper raditor hose from the raditor to the motor, the raditor hose is connected to the thermostat housing, take the houseing off, the thermostat is under the housing.
Lower hose goes between rad and water pump !! KM
Look for a leaking hose, water pump, or raditor find the leak and fix it.
If no reservoir, have you checked the side of the raditor for a filling point? probably there same as an old 306
stand on the passenger side of the car look under hood follow the the lower raditor hose it connect to the water pump Ivan
u didnt mention what size engine..either way just follow the upper raditor hose from the raditor
Could be your electric fan on the radiator is shot, or the relay is bad.
They fixed the replaced the raditor and it still leaks in front of the vehicle.
Follow the upper raditor hose from the raditor to the top of the engine.Where the upper rad hose ends on the engine is where the thermostat is.
The thermostat is going to be located in the raditor. Use extreme caution when taking the raditor cap off to advoid burns from boiling antifreeze. Once the raditor cap is taken off you shuld see the thermostat. Just pull out to remove, or push hard to install.
there are might water jackets there lie some fords replace the gasket
all you will do is most likely trash the engine. tow the vehicle
