With the introduction of the sports car
start the engine and press the gas pedal while it is in park
Could be a very plugged up fuel filter or catalytic converter.
yes it can. it will rev up like it wants to start but it wont turn over hope that helped
Part of the purpose is to allow the car to change how much of a choke there is when you start your car. So that you get the best possible start when you start your car. It also allows you to select how much of a governer is on your car. The governer ditermines how fast you car go before it cuts off the gas to yaour engine. When it reaches that limit your car will slow down to a certin speed then the engine will kick back in and you will continue on your journey. The computer will also allow you to detirmine how high of a rev limiter that you have. The rev limiter allows your car to reach a certin rpm(revolutions per minute) if it goes any higher of a rev limit then the engine will explode. These are the only things that i know of. If you want more information ask a professional mechanic.
you should never rev your engine when you start your car it sometimes takes the oil pump time to pump oil up into the engine heads if you rev it too much your engine could suck a valve or blow a lifter.
hi it could be a dodgy altinator .start there
start the car, rev to 5500, if it sputters going up, not enough fuel pressure
It is pronounced rev, like rev up a car
If the vehicle is in neutral or park and it doesn't rev over half throttle, it is the rev limiter (governor). That is normal.
Park your car on an inclined surface (15-20o). Start the car and idle it for 5-10 minutes. You can rev it couple times too.
It is not good for your car if you rev your engine too much. Many people like to do this because they think it makes their car sound cool.
