1) low coolant?
2) bad thermostat?
3) system airbound?
4) heater core plugged?
5) heater control cable broken?
heater will not blow on a 1996 ford contour
I wouldn't recommend it. Odds are that you'll lose coolant liquid through the heater core, which eventually can lead to the car running dry and overheating.
The head gasket is about to blow.....Typical ford..
Low on coolant. Thermostat stuck open. Heater core plugged up. Temp blend door malfunction.
Low coolant? Bad thermostat? Heater core plugged, restricted or airbound? Bad heater control? Water pump not circulating coolant?

The blower on the back heater may need to be replaced on the 2000 Ford Winstar.
get a new heater switch
Blocked heater core, faulty heater valve, disconnected connection to the heater valve.
Low coolant in the system. Defective heater control valve. Clogged heater core.
I own a 1997 Ford Contour and there was a recall a few years ago on the heater blower and resistor. Check out the recalls on the car.
Idk know but mine does it when i start off from a red light or stop sign and as soon as i let off the gas or it changes gears (automatic) it comes through the vents like normal.
