If it is shaking while you are driving, it could be a number of things. Because subarus are all wheel drive, having different sized tires on the front and back will make the car shake, as well as ruin your transmition. It could also be a wheel bearing. The rack and pinion may have to be replaced. Also, check to see if your CV joints are in good condition. You may even have to have your wheel aligned. Try troubleshooting with your repair manual.

Is there a noise accompanying the shake? If you accelerate around a corner is the shake any different? Left or right turn make a difference?
