you will need to back off the brake shoes before the drum will come off
your choice they cant tell you to cut it off , they not allowed . its like saying "don't come in work without shoes " obviously your going to come in with shoes.
Take off your shoes before you come into there house.
One: this is the stupid answer. Buy the caveman costume. Two: this is probably the answer your looking for. Put on a pair of member shoes and logg off when you come back on you'll have no shoes.
On the back of the dtum you will find a hole thru which you ca access a "star" wheel. Turn it to slacken off the shoes and the drum will come off easily.
Your like my family, we like to take our shoes off in our house. When visitors come over. Go in the door first and take your shoes off. If they don't get the hint, Just ask them politely to do so. If they are true friends I'm sure they wont mind.~Sue~
