The Bradley vehicle is not a nuclear capable weapon system.
No, US Army Rangers do not typically use the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. They are an elite infantry unit and are primarily focused on conducting special operations missions on foot or utilizing light vehicles. The use of heavy armored vehicles like the Bradley is generally the domain of mechanized infantry units.
An armoured fighting vehicle is an armed military vehicle which runs on wheels or caterpillar tracks, used by fighting troops.
They ride around in heavy armoured vehicles (as opposed to light infantry). In the US, they'd be equipped with the Bradley fighting vehicle. In the UK, they'd use the Warrior IFV.
Aircraft may replace future tanks; in the meantime, the ultimate future tank should incorporate infantrymen inside the vehicle; a COMBINED ARMS TANK. The Bradley Fighting Vehicle, although not classified as a tank, meets the "pioneering standards" for such a tank.
The M1, and the Bradley are actually two entirely different machines. The M1 and derivatives are collectively known as the Abrams Tank. The Bradley series of vehicles are M2's. The M1 is a Main Battle Tank(MBT), armed with usually a 120mm Smoothbore gun, with integrated fire control systems. The Bradley which is the M2, is known as the BRadley fighting Vehicle. whlie yes it does have a turret on top it is not a tank. It is an armed and armored personnel carrier. The Abrams Tank, carries a small crew of I believe 4. Driver, gunner, Commander, and Loader. The Bradley carries the same crew, but also a squad of soldiers in the back. The Bradley fires a 20mm canon, and usually as a TOW missile system, which is capable of destroying just about any tank out there. The Bradley while called a fighting vehicle which it is, is an APC as mentioned above, and it's gun is pretty much anti personnel. The Abrams on the other hand being a tank, takes out other tanks. While the BRadley can also take out tanks, it's TOW missile system only houses 2 missiles. It is not a tank hunter, but has the TOW system for defense against tanks.
The M242 Chain Gun used by the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle uses a 25mm x 137mm fixed cartridge. These are available in High Explosive, Armor Piercing, Blank, Practice, and Dummy versions.
An AFV is either an armoured fighting vehicle or an alternative fuel vehicle.
