he was called the oaklahoma wild man he was killed in the early 70's in orange county when his go-kart landed short he held or still holds the world record 18 cars ramp to ramp.a few weeks prior to his death he was at baylands raceway in fremont. my father worked on his kart for him before he left he gave the go-kart tome cause he was having a knew one built the knew one didn't have a full roll cage and that is what cased his death
I was at orange co. when he died. he came to the raceway in an ambulance and as he was layed down on the gocart we were told in anouncements that Larry was in too much pain to wear a harness. When he jumped his front wheels hit the landing ramp and the gocartflipped in the air and landed upside down. his head was completely turned aroundand blood was coming out of his neck under his helmet. We got in our car and followed the ambulance to the hospital but never got any information until today. I was at a freinds house tonight and just happened to tellthe story of leaping "Oklahoma wild man " Larry and thought I'd check the net and found this wiki answer.Wow, what a mindblast, all these years, thanks wiki!
