It's literally impossible to say, because it all depends on the details. Best thing is don't worry about it, report it to your insurance company, and let their lawyers argue with the other guy's insurance company's lawyers. They'll probably ultimately assign some percentage of the blame to both of you.
The backing car is at fault
If you reverse your car and then collide with a parked car , the person who did the reversing is at fault.
You are! For not being cautious when reversing on to a road. You should make sure that it is safe and clear when reversing, if you hit another car it is your fault and not the person that is driving on the roads fault.
if you're reversing into your driveway and someone hits you its their fault. you were moving away and they wern't paying attention. Now if you went back into the street to straighten out and back back in then it might be your fault, but if you were reversing the whole way and never came back out of your driveway it would be theirs
The fault of the one who backed in to you, unless you made a very unpredictable, unnecessary stop.
Not enough detail here to determine fault
The reversing car attempting to park would be at fault. The car already traveling in the road would have the right of way since they are already properly in motion and traveling in the correct direction of traffic.. The reversing car would be traveling against the flow of traffic and has an obligation to ensure that the way is clear before reversing.
The person who bumped into you, unless that person sues you for thinking that you bumped into him. Or her. Sorry. Does that answer your question? OK. Good.
who cares they both go 2 court!!!
If you were both backing out at the same time, then it will be considered joint fault, sometimes called contributory negligence. That means both drivers failed to notice the other driver.
You are at fault - The charge where I one worked was, "Backing Without Caution."
Yours.
