Typically an empty trailer will take longer to stop. The reason is that the tractor trailer have been designed to work together loaded. The trailer does not get enough traction when empty so the friction generated by the trailer tires to contribute to stopping the truck is not great enough and the stopping distance increases.
A six sledge hammer. Depends if the can is empty or full. When full the crush load is 180 - 200 lbf
There are several different types of trailers out there, each with their own methods for loading. You wouldn't load a dump trailer, tanker trailer, and flatbed trailer the same way.
You call it a semi because it pulls a semi trailer.A semi is a type of trailer. A semi-trailer, as opposed to a full trailer, means it only has axles at the rear of the trailer and a full trailer has axles at the front and rear of the trailer. We call these in the UK "drags", as in wagon and drag, where the wagon that pulls the drag can carry a load on its own, whereas the semi-trailer truck, or tractor unit cannot carry anything without a trailer.
The trailer loaded
Pulling a trailer requires more energy than carrying a heavy load.
The load in a full truck is mainly higher than the centre of gravity (COG) of the empty truck. As a result the COG of a full truck is higher. It is this than makes it easier to tip.
To load a full-grown pig into a trailer, you can use a ramp that allows the pig to walk up into the trailer. You may also use food or treats to entice the pig to move into the trailer. Patience and calmness are key in ensuring the process goes smoothly and without stress to the pig.
A typical conventional tractor with full tanks of fuel and typical driver weighs about 20,000#. A typical empty 53' foot trailer is about 13,000# for a total of 33,000#. this allows 47,000# of freight. A 48' is about 1,000 pounds lighter and you can load about 48,000 pounds of freight on it.
what type of machinery is used to unload a trailer with slipsheet load

Actually this question can not be answered since the actual time mainly depends on the load attached to the generator. If running idle (i.e. no electrical load connected) it will run significantly longer than with full load connected.
