Depending on how you define "Super-Mini" the first one was probably the Mini Cooper of 1961 or 1962, I think. Based on a definition of "Mini-car" as the introduction, in the Uk, of the Austin Morris MINI in 1959. That car was the first vehicle capable of carrying four six foot adults in a car just marginally over 10 feet in length.
