valvoline is #1 for me
Valvoline is one of the largest producers of motor oil in the United States. As such, it has gained a reputation over a period of time for being a leader in motor oil production.
There is no better oil. Each oil has more or less benefits depending on your situation. Like anything you get what you pay for, cheaper oils have less costly additives that keep your engine clean and wear to a minimum.
There is no right oil for any engine, just depends on what the user likes... for exampe I like and will always use Valvoline cause its a great oil... dont use Quakerstate... unless you want serious problems, ive heard stories of how 1 mechanic i know took the valve cover off to fix the rockers and he had to use a screw driver and a hammer to chip at the oil and he actually lifted the Quakerstate oil out of the engine... Valvoline is the best, if your engine has over 75000 miles on it then try the Valvoline Max Life, it will help protect and make your engine last longer. The manufacturer states to only use 5W-30 in the car, I believe..
Ashland. The same maker of Valvoline.

Any motorcycle oil with the weight 20W50. I use Valvoline 4 stroke motorcycle oil 20W50 and it works fine!
With a filter change it will need 5 quarts, I prefer Valvoline.
