Gas mileage, or MPG, depends upon who the car is being driven. A driver with a heavy foot on the throttle will achieve less MPG than a driver with a very light tough on the accelerator.

Also, weather, road conditions and traffic have a huge bearing on gas mileage that can be achieved.
