Connect the green wire to the negative side of the coil.
Its located up and alittle to the right of coil packs on back side of block
If it is the 2.2 engine, on the lower passenger side of the engine block. It is best reached from underneath.
are you talking about a sm. block hei. dist. if so there are 2 spade connectors on the side of the cap , one says tach. The tach signal comes from the negative side of the coil.

Firewall side of the engine block, couple of bolts hold it to the block, pull straight away from the block when removing as crank sensor, (extending approx. 2-3" long into the block), is mounted directly behind it to the coil/module base
The negative side of this coil is that it doesn't have a injector pulse. There also was a problem with the lack of spark.
There is no coil wire only spark plug wires. The coil pack can be found on the lower passenger side of engine block. It is best seen and accessed from under the vehicle.
red (+) wire to possitive side of coil- Black (-) wire to negative side of coil. thats it.
The ignition module and coils are located on the lower passenger side of engine block. It is best to access from underneath.
Pretty much anywhere on the engine block, but factory location is right front corner of the block. That is the passenger side of the vehicle. Right and Left are determined by driver setting in vehicle. Left side is drivers side, Rt side is passenger side no matter what direction you are looking at.
