Wiyh few exceptions the number 1 cylinder is the one most forward on the engine. Even though you don't notice it at first even a v6 or v8 one of the cylinders is a little bit farther forward toward the front of the engine. By front of the engine I'm not talking about the front of the car. On your MPV the front of the engine is the end opposite of the transmission. Look carefully and you will see that one of the cylinders is just slightly to the left of the other banks front cylinder. THAT WILL BE NUMBER 1. gOOD LUCK.
That would be the sensor after the catalytic converter.
bank 2 is opposite #1 cylinder and sensor 1 is front.
