Replacing the door lock actuator in a 2008 Honda CRV requires first removing the door panel from the inside. When this is done, the electronic feature can be bypassed leaving manual locks as the result. Removing the fuse is not advisable as vehicle access will be denied.
Yes.
power door locks don't work on my 1997 Honda crv
First thing to do would be to check the fuse contrlling the electronic door lock circuit.
The driver's side door ajar sensor may not be working.
If it's just one door that's not opening, it's possible that the 'child-proof' door opener lever has been engaged by mistake (check the position of the small lever located in the doorjamb) OR the small servo motor inside the door has failed and is not actuating the lock mechanism. Check the wiring leading into that door to make sure it hasn't been pulled loose, pinched, or cut. If not, you or a mechanic is going to have to go inside the door to check the little motor.
Inside Driver's side door, you have to remove the interior panel.
theres no point in putting this question on wiki answers just ask the person at the garage
It is possible that the small electric motor that operates the lock (called a solenoid) may have failed or a wire to it has come loose inside the door.
