Where is the fuse box on a 1999 bettle volkwagon?

The last one I worked on there was 2 fuse boxes. One is under the hood and if equiped you have to remove the black plastic cover that covers the entire engine compartment. The fuse box there is labeled and is usually close to the battery. It may be labled relay or fuse. The 2nd fuse box is on the drivers side next to the door opening on the dash or at the kick panel. I've seen these both ways. If you have the owners manual it will tell you the locations and wich fuse is for wich circut. Use caution allways when searching for the 2nd fuse box because of Air Bags. One wrong move and unhooking the wrong thing and Air Bag Deployment.
