you have to look for the line near the bottom of the dipstick and if the oil is up to the line that means it is full enough.
There is usually a marked line or a dipstick. Use them
No, check you dipstick and fill it till it reaches the full line.
It is usually one quart from add to full.
LOcate the transmission dipstick which is next to the oil dipstck and has a latch holding it down. Start the truck at an idle while warmed up, pull the dipstick wipe it off put it back all the way in, pull it out and see if it is wet up to the full line. Add fluid thru the dipstick tube if it needs it, rechecking until it shows at the FULL line.
The fuel tank in vehicles varies with the model. A full tank for one might be 12 gallons, for others, 30 gallons. If you're looking for a definition, then whenever you cannot fit anymore liquid into the tank, then where the liquid stops is where the full tank level is. Some tanks also have an indicator either painted or embossed into the side of the tank that lets you know not to fill it past that line (full line). For dipstick applications (say for the oil in an engine), the full tank level would be indicated by the engraved markings on the dipstick itself. Sometimes there are no obvious indicators on a dipstick, in this case, the dipstick will usually have two holes: the one towards the bottom tip being the minimum indicator and the one above it being the full indicator.
The dipstick has 2 lines on it. The top line indicates the engine oil is full and the lower line indicates the engine is about one quart low on oil.
NO SUCH THING never was The master cylinder should be semi-clear colored and marked on the side with a full line
my 2007 camry has no dipstick! had to fill it through the cooler line.
7 QUARTS Roughly Start with 6.5. Check dipstick mark on while parked on level surface. Check while engine is HOT. Fill to top line on dipstick. DO NOT OVERFILL!!!
Under the hood, find the automatic transmission fluid pipe. Consult your owner's manual if you do not know where this is. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean. Reinsert the dipstick and pull it out to check the fluid level. The fluid should be at the "full" line.
4.2 quarts from empty to full. Put it 4 quarts, start motor, idle for 30 seconds, turn off motor and check dipstick, fill to the line marked "full"
