The fuel pump on a 1997 Honda CBR 600 F3 is located on the left side of the bike. Just below the seat and is visible through the small opening in the left side cover. It's a small round cylinder looking device about 1.5" in diameter and about 3.5" long. It has one 2 pin electrical connector on a pair of wires that come out of a plastic cover at the back end.
