There is usually a bolt hole in the alternator/generator bracket. I believe it is either a 3/8" or 1/2" hole. Stock, the ground wire goes here with a bolt, lock washer, and nut.
If you have an engine that has the alternator on the opposite side of the engine from the battery, use one of the existing bolt holes in the front of the cylinder head closest to the battery. Use a bolt and lock washer to install.
In either scenario, be sure to clean off the paint where the cable end is going to touch the metal. This will ensure a good connection. I tend to use 0 gauge wire for my ground wire. A little bit of overkill, but I like to have a good ground.
what is the curb weight of a 1965 Chevrolet c10 long bed

YES.
I would reckon about 12 or 13mpg highway, maybe a little more
The 2nd yellow wire goes to power, (usually a thicker red wire)
Yes it should bolt right in
No, completely different body style.
You have wires going to the carb on a 72 Chevy c10?
A c10 is 2 wheel drive and the k10s are 4 wheel drive.
You listed this question in the Ford F150 category but Ford never built a 230. You must mean Chevy as you stated C10. The 230 Chevy inline 6 has a firing order of 1-5-3-6-2-4.
