For the front of the car you can buy things called speaker kick panels which sit under the dash against the metal side walls of that area. They are made from moulded plastic and once attached form a cavity in which to mount speakers of about 5 or 6 inch in diameter. You can get them from www.machine7.com and i think empi make some as well. Because they are just thin plastic i recommend lining the insides with some kind of fabric or foam to eliminate vibration noise. The same should be done to the metal area of the car behind the speaker to achieve the best sound. The back is obviously much less of a problem and putting speakers into holes in the parcel shelf should suffice. Putting speakers in Beetle doors is not really a good idea because the door card is often too flimsy to really hold the speaker in addition to the high risk of water damage from leaks or condensation as there is only one sheet of metal between the speaker and the outside elements not to mention potential space problems with the window glass mechanism. Hope this helps.
Someone put one on it.
Well, the engine in a 1974 vw Beetle is in the back of the car. So the brake fluid in front or the back to the left of the right.
Remove the grills and then there will be 4 screws just take them out and put the new speaker in.
I wouldn't. You are talking about a MAJOR engineering project and, if you don't do it exactly right, the car will be unsafe. My recommendation is to search Craigslist for a 1969-later Bug that needs an engine and transmission, and put the ones from your car in it.
First unhook the battery. Then put the key in (you need it!) and turn it to "on." Remove the steering wheel and the ignition switch just slides out.
1998 vw beetle what type of oil
No, they're completely different.
Yes you can put your bose outdoor speakers in your garden. You can put these anywhere in your yard.
You'll have to get the Robert Bentley Service Manual to show you how as it's an involved process. It's not that hard but there are a lot of pieces to put in the right order.
Yes, you will need a screwdriver though, and a smart idea is to put the srews on the back magnet of the speaker
if one was put on the car it should be in-line. you should find it in the hose leading to the carb just before the hose goes in to the carb. if you don't see one there you should put one there.
