Replace Thermostat
Check coolant level in RADIATOR when cold When light is blinking turn on heat and see if you have any. If no heat good indication that thermostat is stuck in closed position and needs to be replaced
Bad Thermostat
it goes out and your heat will be gon
When a thermostat goes bad in a vehicle, it can make your car overheat. It can also make it t where you do not have any heat inside your car.
If it's stuck open, no heat. If it's stuck closed, over heat.
Sounds like it could be a bad thermostat - not closing to allow engine to heat to normal operating temperature
My first guess would be a thermostat stuck open. Replace the thermostat.
Probably a bad thermostat.
Bad or frozen thermostat
If you're talking about an automotive thermostat and an automotive heater , then you should go with whatever temperature range thermostat the manufacturer originally specified . If you live in an unusually cold climate , you can go up a little on the thermostat heat range during the cold weather .
