thermostat is wired wrong or something damaged thermostat wires. check where they enter (outdoor) unit. may have abraded on metal edge.
Sounds like you have a cooling problem somewhere. The light for EM heat is also what we call a "you have a problem light". Does the outdoor unit run at all? Or does your emergency heat actually kick on, heat out of ducts?
yes the blower blowsheat out of ducts
yes it will also cause them to blink off & on and
First guess would be a bad ignition switch.
failed relay
I would replace the headlight switch as Ford has had their share of these problems.
If the ignition switch is faulty it could leave an electrical component turned on and that could potentially cause a dead battery. That would not necessarily be the case and you might notice if the switch is supposed to be off but something still runs.
Often there is a switch on the dashboard, or an "on" function to an existing switch, such as a dimmer switch. It merely needs to be turned "off" and doors closed, to watch for light going out, notwithstanding any timer or short convenience period.
Most users of the fuel pump shut-off switch is near the starter button in a location where a thief would not find it. You can hear when the fuel pump switch is turned on and of course when turned off there would be no noise.
The first clue would be,having voltage at the terminal of the switch, when the switch is turned on,the circuit does not energize.
First thing you want to check is the dimmer switch to see if it is turned all the way down.
This issue may be caused by a short circuit in the wiring of one of the light switches. When the switch is turned off, the short circuit is occurring, causing the fuse to blow. It's important to have an electrician inspect and repair the wiring to prevent further damage or safety hazards.
check your interer dimmer switch is it in the on position? dimmer switch is not turned on ... the lights stay on while the car is in use as well as when the car is turned off. they stay on exactally as long as the radio does if the car is turned off and you sit inside
Theres a switch 2 buttons to the left of the defroster switch. That switch is to raise and lower you head lights without turning them on so you can change the headlights. The switch could have a short in it causing it to act like that.
