I would say it was the 1985 Koenig Competition Evolution, it was based on the Ferrari Tesstarossa
In the US: SSC Ultimate Aero TT at 257mph, unless there's a 268mph Bugatti Veyron SS in the US already. That's the answer for PRODUCTION cars.
That's not right, The fastest car produced is a Bughatti Veyron reaching over 240 mph.a distinct from outright racing cars, the fastest production models were and are the Porsche 959 ( in some models illegal in US), The Ferrari 250 GTO which could in heated up trim hit 200 Mph, and numerous Lamborghini and other ( Factory rods).

SSC Ultimate Aero if there's no Bugatti Veyron SS in the US yet
The SSC Ultimate Aero TT is the fastest US production car coming in at 257mph and build by shelby super cars. However the fastest American car aside from that would have to be the Chevy Corvette. The Zr1 corvette features a 6.2L supercharged v8 that makes 638hp with a top speed of 205. Corvettes are the American supercars and are much much more popular than the SSC Ultimate Aero which had only a limited number produced.
Americans build the fastest cars in the world. In terms of absolute top speed, the SSC Ultimate Aero TT has the record at 257.44 mph (beating the runner-up Bugatti Veyron 16.4). Only 24 Ultimate Aeros were produced, though, calling into question whether or not it can really be considered a "production car"The 2010 Dodge Viper is among the fastest cars ever built and is unquestionably a production model, being sold in large numbers at a mass market price. The ACR version currently has the production car record of fastest lap times at Laguna Seca and the Nurburgring. The previous record at the Nurburgring was held by the Corvette ZR-1, but the Viper ACR beat it by over 4 seconds, meaning the top 2 highest single lap times at the European track are both registered by American cars.
The carriage, you know with horses!
The 1978 Dodge lil' Red Express pickup truck should be in the top 10 list. In 1978 The Dodge Lil' Red Express was the fastest American made vehicle from 0 to 100 MPH as tested by Car and Drivermagazine.
because America makes the most car production sales in north America
